Discover the Renaissance castle and the lovely castle park
Rosenholm Castle is not designed as a museum, but as a genuine noble home that stands as it did when it was still inhabited a generation ago. The castle contains examples of how one of Denmark's leading noble families lived for almost 450 years. On the tour through the many rooms and halls, the history of the castle is told - both the historical facts and some of the cosy anecdotes. Of course, guests will also be "introduced" to the most active ghosts...
You can enjoy Denmark's largest collection of family portraits by international artists from the 16th century to the present day, as well as paintings of many other great historical personalities. Discover the idyllic castle park with beautiful flower beds and tall, majestic trees, lakes and moat - as well as the small garden house Pirkentavl, originally named after a board game, but later nicknamed "Jutland's first university".

Public guided tours
Visitors are only admitted to Rosenholm Castle by joining these guided tours, which allow you to experience the magnificent halls, unique architecture and fascinating history of the castle under the expert guidance of experienced guides.
Tickets are purchased on-site before the guided tour at the ticket office, please follow the signs in the castle courtyard.
