Host your wedding at Rosenholm Castle just 25 min. drive from Aarhus and enjoy a magical wedding celebration with friends and family. The castle was built between 1559 and 1610 and has 450 years of history behind it. With years of experience in customised castle weddings, we have plenty of ideas on how to make your wedding truly unique.
You can even get married in Rosenholm's own chapel or under the open sky in the beautiful park that surrounds the castle. However, this requires that you bring your own priest and/or officiant to perform the ceremony.

Each wedding is carefully organised according to the wishes, needs and budget of the bride and groom - we tailor the day to your dreams. We put together the food according to your wishes, whether you prefer fine dining, buffet, social dining or tapas solutions. Together with our skilled pastry chefs, you can also design the wedding cake - also customised to your wishes.
Our gastronomic partner, Martin Ib (MIB), is committed to making your wedding celebration an unforgettable experience. MIB ensures that the culinary part of the day is as memorable as the rest of your special day.
Rent the castle for your wedding
In the castle's Knights' Hall, there is room for 120 dining guests. After dinner, we make room here for music, dancing and a bar. The castle also has smaller halls and can therefore also provide the setting for a smaller and more intimate wedding.

Our experienced staff are on hand to help you customise every aspect of your wedding. From the intimate ceremony in the castle's historic chapel to the grand celebration in the knights' hall, we make sure every detail is perfect.
The castle and park are reserved for you
The Knight's Hall, the castle courtyard, the park and the historic entrance are all put to use when there is a wedding celebration at Rosenholm. The welcome drink can be enjoyed in the park or in one of the castle's many historic salons. Often the bride and groom are photographed right after the ceremony, and during this time we can offer guests a guided tour of the Renaissance castle.

Your guests can stay nearby
It is not possible to stay in the castle itself, but there are many charming accommodation options very close to the castle, from five-star to slightly more modest. The castle staff are happy to help with advice and recommendations.
Enkesædet is located next to Rosenholm Castle. The house is cosily furnished with five double bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The property also includes a large living room with magnificent views of the park, a large kitchen-dining room, jacuzzi and sauna. The widow's house can of course also be rented for your castle wedding.
